ABOUT THE FOUNDER
WKND is the creation of Helen Martinez, a self-described jack of all trades and fashion lover. She is a graduate of FSU Law School but always had a love for design. After years of working as a lawyer and circling the world of design, she started WKND during a trip abroad where she developed relationships with custom fabric manufacturers. The first bag was designed by Helen and hand-crafted at a small, sustainably-run, family-owned manufacturer that creates each bag on a handloom.
