A little over a week until Father’s Day and we wanted to share the love to all the guys out there. Ladies, if your man loves to golf, we have put together a mini travel guide to 3 different golf courses and the cities they are located in. If you haven’t gotten a gift for Father’s Day, consider taking a trip and playing a round of golf while you’re gone!
Cashiers, North Carolina
Wade Hampton is located just outside of Cashiers, North Carolina near Lake Toxaway. It is one of many golf courses in the area, so it would make the perfect destination for a Father’s Day (or birthday, or anniversary) trip for any golf lover! If you don’t play much golf yourself, riding in the cart and taking in the scenery is still something fun to do! The mountainous views from this golf course are breathtaking.
Once your round is over, head to the town of Cashiers for awesome shopping and dining! We love Cornucopia Restaurant for lunch and Ugly Dog, Cashiers for a casual dinner! If you’re looking for something a little fancier, you CAN’T go wrong with Lonesome Valley Canyon Kitchen!
Cashiers is also known for phenomenal hiking, like Silver Run Falls or Panthertown Valley.
Palm Beach, Florida
Palm Beach is one of our favorite places, so we had to recommend taking a trip and playing a round at Seminole! Palm Beach is known for its beautiful beaches and fantastic shopping. It’s the perfect trade, a round of golf for a day of shopping! Some of our favorite restaurants include Buccan, Banter, and Renato’s!
Ponte Vedra, Florida
Everyone knows about TPC Sawgrass because of The Players Championship every year in mid-March. Though, the rich history of the clubhouse is reason enough to take a little trip by. The coolest part about the clubhouse are the storytellers, hired specifically to tell you the history of the artwork, architecture, and course.
Ponte Vedra has great beaches and great condos to stay in. Some of our favorite restaurants in this area include Palm Valley, Caps on the Water, and Dwights!
Our Golf Widow clutch was made for a day on the golf course! It's the perfect size for your wallet and phone! At golf courses as beautiful as these, you need to have your phone handy to snap a pic of the scenery from each tee box.
Take the strap off and take this cute clutch out to dinner! So many good, fancy restaurants in golfing areas, including the clubs themselves. If you’re one of the lucky ones that gets to eat in the clubhouse, have an extra plate for us!
